Always in the leading group, waiting for the day to touch the championship: The journey of WALK FC

Consistent performance throughout the seasons

In grassroots football, maintaining form and consistently being in the leading group is not easy. It is the result of effort, team spirit, and the accumulation of experience through each match. For ĐI BỘ FC, their journey in the Women's Community Cup is a testament to the team's progress and competitiveness across seasons.

Over four seasons in March, May, July, and September, ĐI BỘ FC has repeatedly become a notable name in the championship race. From impressive attacking performances, outstanding individual players to their first appearance in the Final, the team has made significant progress. Although the championship is still out of reach, each season brings its own unique mark and adds experience to the journey ahead.

From an impressive comeback to their first Final

March was a period when ĐI BỘ FC did not achieve the expected results. With one win in the group stage, the team finished the season in 4th place in Group A. However, just two months later, ĐI BỘ FC returned with a completely different appearance.

In the May tournament, the team's offense exploded, leading ĐI BỘ FC to the knockout stage. Although they were eliminated by Happy FC in the Semi-finals with a score of 1-7, the team still concluded the tournament with a victory in the 3rd place match against Sài Gòn Xanh FC after an exciting chase for the score. Striker Hồng Phúc also made her mark by scoring 9 goals, sharing the Golden Boot title of the tournament.

By July, ĐI BỘ FC continued to show clear progress. With 7 goals from Kin, the team won all three group stage matches in Group D, achieving a goal difference of +18. Continuing their impressive performance, ĐI BỘ FC defeated FC Rainbow 4-0 in the Semi-finals, earning their first right to participate in the Women's Community Cup Final.

Against GLOBALINKS FC, ĐI BỘ FC could not maintain the desired game and lost 0-4, thus concluding the tournament as runners-up. Although they could not lift the trophy, the July journey still marks an important milestone in the team's development process.

September: Another challenge on the journey to conquer the title

Entering the September season, ĐI BỘ FC continued to show good form in the group stage. The team topped Group A without conceding any goals, with goalkeeper Minh Tâm contributing with two clean sheets.

However, the knockout stage brought greater challenges. ĐI BỘ FC lost to GLOBALINKS FC 0-7 in the Semi-finals, before suffering a narrow 2-3 defeat to HAPPY FC in the 3rd place match. Finishing the tournament in 4th place, the team still has areas to improve to go further in decisive matches.

Looking back at the four seasons, ĐI BỘ FC has demonstrated competitiveness, possessed outstanding individuals, and continuously made their mark in the Women's Community Cup. From initial difficulties to their first appearance in the Final, each tournament has been a step forward, while also helping the team recognize areas that need improvement.

The next season is approaching. Can ĐI BỘ FC leverage their existing strengths, improve their knockout stage performance, and take another step on their journey to conquer the championship? The answer will lie in what the team shows on the field in their upcoming return.
